Gronbach Wins! Other Races Unsettled

So far, it appears that the Democrats have done very well.  Mr. Gronbach won the Mayoral race and they appear to have a majority on the Council and the BOE.

Some Districts ran out of printed ballots and used paper ballots that are still being counted as I post this at 11:56 p.m.  It's a long and tedious process that, because of the absence of instructions and uniform procedures, could last until the sun rises.

There may be as many as 400 paper ballots so this could impact at least the Council race.  Here are the tally sheets as of 10:45 p.m. A "+" sign means that there are paper ballots yet to be counted:

I hope that everyone will recognize that Pat did a wonderful job for our Town. We were a divided Town when she took office and she has done so much good that I for one would like to thank her.
Pat was a very popular Mayor until some issues turned the tide against her.First and foremost the issue of JPS has divided our Town, at least how it was handled. The issue of Loaves and Fishes has also caused division.
For over a year I have personally tried to share my views on the handling of JPS but I believe most thought it was a done deal and voters would forget it.No one wanted to hear what I was saying.
do not agree with how they represented you the fact is they volunteered and tried their best.I believe this is the biggest factor for the democratic sweep in Town. For anyone that did not see this coming I find hard to believe.Having lived her my entire life I saw it very clearly.
I am proud to see the voter turnout and I hope that those who have been elected will keep the past in mind while they go forward in the future.
We are still a small Town at heart we value our Town and we still want our voices heard.
I wish Dave Gronbach and all those elected success as their success is also a success for our future.
Please take the time to thank all those who have volunteered their time and served who have just left office. They have given many hours of service to this Town and even if you do not like how they served the fact is they did their best.
