There's an interesting tidbit on Monday night's Town Council Agenda: the possible purchase of the brass mill. If the sale takes place quickly, it could have a very positive impact on the 08/09 Budget.

Why not tell people before the meeting?
I've heard ducks quack before. I bet the knuckleheads on the TC still think the building is worth $10 million, and won't sell unless they get a great deal. Let's see if they recognize the real estate market is in a tail spin.
Sell.
It looks horrible now. Would it kill the town to paint, mow, or do something to make it not look like a person has to spend millions just to be usable.
Compare the brass mill to KC or Nestle.
